business and witchcraft don't mix

Writer's picture: shayrigginshayriggin

or are they the most perfect combination that ever existed?

the original definition of "witch" was wise woman. Women were known as healers, guides, and supports in the most vulnerable moments of our lives.

what's more vulnerable than your business? dare I say almost nothing.

I've coached clients for years about standing in their power, owning their story and then bravely sharing it. all the while I hid in the background congratulating them, singing their praises, and continuing to build their companies for them. this was my wounded healer coming through to my business.

somewhere inside of me felt useful and valuable when I could navigate it for others. from branding, to marketing, to content creation and even social media management, I could become EVERYTHING to someone. to a CEO, to a Celebrity, to a mom and pop shop around the corner. by being their go to gal, I didn't need to be my own.

this worked. like a charm.

the magic of myself I brought to the businesses that hired me Is unmatched. I built empires. I created platforms and millions of dollars in revenue. (some even reoccurring)

as long as I gave my all to my clients, everything was smooth. eventually i started noticing not only was I giving my all, but I was DOING it all. I was a one stop shop for it all. I shouldered it all. I felt brave, and powerful, and important, but really, I was expendable, and I was doing it for those who didn't want to do the work, they wanted ME to do the work.

now, I'm sure you can understand the confusing line here, because as a contractor it's my job to get work done, and getting work done I did. but what is not part of my job especially when working with single brand companies is to create nonstop. my face is not their face, I could not continue to grow like that.

like any good CEO I shifted my offerings. I no longer will DO IT ALL for you, but I will guide you through the process. My knowledge is available, and my support still unwavering, I just will stay on this side of the counter.

because the most magical part of your company is you, the person, and the message that started it.

if reading this excited you, then you are in the right place.
